Just over one week ago the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship made their hugely successful Middle East debut.  As over a thousand fans inside the sold out event centre at the luxurious Le Royal Hotel in Amman, Jordan enjoyed an action packed night of Mixed Martial Arts action.

Arguably one of the most successful and glamorous events in the promotion’s near nine year history, this event not only provided a real VIP feel to proceedings but it also saw high quality production values and featured a live worldwide internet and Television broadcast.  The six main International bouts wowed the audience and produced several memorable match-ups, including the epic Jean N’Doye/Dan Hope Lightweight clash.

The festivities were not only confined to the day of the show, as the CWFC held public weigh-ins at the Virgin Megastore at the City Mall in Amman which saw both the local and international fighters interact with the 300 strong crowd.  Whilst the ‘Arabs got Talent’ finalist Johnny Madness and the internationally renowned Jordanian radio personality DJ Shadia performed both at the weigh-ins and on the day of the event.

With both a strong local and international feel to its proceedings the success of the inaugural event in Jordan has prompted Cage Warriors officials to formally book Cage Warriors Fight Night 2 on Thursday 8th September.  This event will take place at a brand new 2500 seater, 360 degree venue in the centre of Amman, and will once again see a mix of local talent from the North Africa and Middle East area on the undercard.

Whilst the main televised card will feature international talent from Europe and the United States as well as two World Title bouts. The CWFC team have already started the matchmaking process for this event.  If you wish to be included email events@cagewarriors.com
